“It must be some kind of record!”

Passports for the children, along with mine, will expire this month. So yesterday a field trip to the USA Embassy was held for the Budd Home School. The lady handling our applications laughed and said no family had ever come in to renew so many passports at one time. We are so very special in so many ways was my reply! Daniel said we need to have passports so we can travel all over the world. We pray that this was a prophetic statement from this adventurous 9 yr. old. This family enjoys sharing the Good News to everyone everywhere!

Sunday morning at 6 AM begins the Ramadan Outreach. Preston and I are heading to the Northern Region with a full week of ministry scheduled;

• Books delivered for the African Hope Library, Larabanga
• Schools visited with gifts of supplies, soccer balls and basketballs
• Show Passion of the Christ movie at the Ancient Mosque
• Visit with Chief Jakpa
• Meetings with World Vision concerning water wells in Larabanga
• Meetings with Government Officials concerning water scarcity
• Visit water well sites, potential well sites
• Visit one rural village to show Passion
• Bible distribution
• Tract distribution

Preston has been excused from school for a week but only to make up everything in a 2 weeks period upon returning. A new Budd Home School year has just begun here in Ghana. Our plans are to have it completed prior to the family returning to the USA for Summer Furlough 2009. Many have already scheduled us to participate in VBS programs, Church Camps and for me to speak at churches. Please email us ASAP to get on the Summer 2009 schedule. charlie@africanhope.com

I have a request. Please forward this to others who will be praying for the outreach to the Northern Region. This outreach is to the Moslem population within the tribe of the Gonga. The Ancient Mosque will be a busy place location during Ramadan. Many West African Moslems come to this Mosque for their Hajj. This pilgrimage is to search for truth and enlightenment. It is by God’s divine grace that we will be able to show the Passion of the Christ movie in this area at this time. We pray that it will affect many Moslems seeking the Truth!

Also pass this along to others who may want African Hope involved with the summer 2009 church programs. Pass it along to Children Pastors and Youth Pastors who can use a “Missions Moment” during their programs. We want to share the Good News to everyone everywhere!
